What is Children’s Liturgy of the Word? (CLOW)
During Children’s Liturgy of the Word children are dismissed from the assembly to the chapel, where the readings and Gospel are proclaimed from a Children's Lectionary. The children are called forward and dismissed before the readings from scripture in the assembly. They return to the church during the time of the Presentation of the Gifts.
Parents or an older sibling may go with a child the first few times to make sure that they are able to participate or to help them overcome any apprehensions that they (or the parents) may have.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word occurs during the school year every Sunday at 10:30 AM Mass, except on TGIF days
If you are available to do C.L.O.W. during Mass on Sundays at 10:30 a.m., please contact the rectory 330-394-2461 Option 3.
