Our Beautiful Shrines
Joyfully we welcome your desire to join us here at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. We are a multi-generational parish working at spreading the Kingdom of God through Liturgy, the sacraments, Sacred Scripture, Tradition, and the surrounding community in which we live.
You can find new parishoner packets on the informational table at the back of church, or you can call the parish office to request a packet. We would also like to invite you to join us in the multitude of organizations, groups, ministries, and community outreach programs in which we are involved. Click on the link below to download the registration form, and the forms offering us your time and talent. You can return the forms via U.S. mail, collection basket, or drop them off at the parish office. We would love to meet you at this time!
One of the most difficult things we face in life is the loss of a loved one. As a faith community rooted in the salvation of Jesus Christ, we are here to help you through this difficult time. We have a Bereavement Committee that will assist you in planning the funeral Mass for your loved one, and to offer a funeral luncheon if you wish. We also have a funeral booklet that the funeral director will give you on behalf of the parish. This booklet contains suggested readings from Sacred Scripture, possible music choices, and how family members can get involved in the funeral Mass.
The funeral director usually contacts us first, but feel free to contact the parish and we will work with you, your family, and the funeral director to make this difficult time a time of peace and love based on the grace of Jesus Christ.
One of the most vital ministries we have here at St. Thomas is our Prayer Request Ministry. We have a group of parishoners who will offer some of their time to help those in need with their prayer support.
If you are requesting prayers or would like to join the prayer group to pray for others, you can click on the link below to connect with Ruth Hayes, the coordinator for this ministry.
